GENERAL:

WHAT TYPES OF PRINTING DO YOU OFFER?
We offer digital printing and laser cutting.

DO YOU LASER CUT OTHER MATERIALS OTHER THAN PAPER?
Currently, we only cut paper for invitations.

WHAT TYPES OF PAPER DO YOU USE?
All of our invitations are digitally printed on bright white, recycled 110lb card stock.
Our Laser Cut invitations are cut from recycled 80lb card stock in the color of your choice.
The shimmer papers are thicker and range from 98-107lb.
We also have thicker paper options for an additional charge. Please contact us to discuss this option.

WHAT IF I DON’T SEE AN INVITATION FOR MY EVENT?
Don’t worry! We can customize any invitation for any event.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM DESIGNS?
We are happy to create a custom design for you from scratch. Our design fee is $60/hour.
Please contact us to get started and we will create a custom design quote for you  depending on
the difficulty of the design. Please allow extra time for custom design. NOTE: Custom design is
not always available, so please check with us first.

CAN I ORDER A SAMPLE?
If you would like to receive a sample of a laser cut, our printing, a paper color or a specific
design, please contact us and we will be happy to send it to you if one is in stock.

CAN I BUY YOUR DESIGN AND PRINT IT MYSELF?
Unfortunately, no.

WILL YOU ADDRESS MY INVITATIONS FOR ME AND MAIL THEM OUT?
We do not print outgoing addresses nor do we mail out invitations for customers.

CAN I CHOOSE MY PAPER COLOR, FONT, ENVELOPE COLOR, ETC?
Yes, please review all of your options here.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF WORDS ALLOWED ON A LASER CUT INVITATION?
No, but just like a printed invitation, a lot of wording may cause us to make the font smaller to fit
everything in.

DO I HAVE TO ORDER THE ENTIRE SUITE?
No, each item is sold a la carte. If you do wish to order the entire suite,
we can offer a 20% discount on your entire order.

CAN YOU PRINT ON DARK ENVELOPES? WHAT ABOUT SHIMMER ENVELOPES?
No. That is why we have the option of adding return address labels to your order.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH MY INVITATIONS WILL COST?
Because each and every order is different, the best way is for you to contact us and we will
prepare a quote for you based on your event and your needs.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?
Yes, 25 is the minimum for all items.

HOW MANY PROOFS DO I GET?
Avie Designs is committed to creating the perfect invitation suite for your occasion. That is why
we never charge for proofs and have no limit on the number of proofs you can have prepared.

HOW QUICKLY WILL YOU MAKE PROOF CHANGES?
Proofs are turned around in 24 hours.

WHAT IS YOUR PROOF POLICY?
We work closely with our clients and try to alert them when we notice a potential typo or error,
the responsibility of identifying and correcting mistakes to the proof lies with the customer.
The nature of laser cut invitations makes it so that we must re-type all of the information sent to us.
With so many unusual spellings of names and venue locations, we must trust our clients to check and
double check that everything is worded and spelled correctly, even the common words.
Please rest assured that any errors made by Avie Designs will be corrected immediately at no cost to the customer.
Errors overlooked by the customer and identified after final proof approval
will only be corrected and reprinted at the expense of the customer.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
It’s hard to say how long the process will take as it can be different for each project. The proof
approval process can take as little as one day or as long as a few weeks. Once the proof is
approved, the laser cut invitations take about 3 weeks to ship out and the printed invitations
take about 1 week to ship out.

CAN I EXPEDITE MY ORDER?
Possibly. If you need your order quickly, please contact us first to see  if rushing is available for
your order. Additional fees may apply.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept payment through Paypal, credit card and personal check.

WHAT IF I NOTICE AN ERROR ON MY PROOF AFTER I HAVE APPROVED IT?
Please contact us as soon as you notice the error as we may not have started production
and may be able to correct it at no cost to you.
Unfortunately, if we have begun production on your order, there will be an additional charge to fix it.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NOTICE AN ERROR WHEN I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Please contact as quickly as possible so that we can work together to get them fixed in a timely manner.
If the proof was approved with the error, there will be an additional charge to re-cut & re-print the order.
If the error was on the part of Avie Designs, we will be happy to fix it and expedite them out to you.

HOW WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Your order will ship via UPS ground service. Your cost is $15.95 each time we ship items to you.
We are happy to upgrade your shipping upon request. International shipping is available for an
additional cost.

DO YOU WORK WITH INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS?
All the time! We are even happy to work with other languages if the wording is provided.
Additional shipping rates will apply.
