REAL SAN JOSE WEDDING BY AVIE DESIGNS

LAYOUTWhen Srujana contacted me about altering my original Papel Picado design for her indian/mexican wedding, I was intrigued but I had no idea that her vision would turn into this amazing burst of color and energy. It looks like this was just an amazing day filled with love and excitement.

We took our classic Papel Picado invitation design, moved some elements around and added a Ganesh to the flower at the top. It was just enough of a change to customize the invitation for their event but not enough to incur a full custom design fee. This is a great option for those of you that don’t have the budget for a full custom design but want something tailored to your event.

Thanks again Srujana & Carlos! Best Wishes!

REAL PALM SPRINGS WEDDING BY AVIE DESIGNS

H. ANDROL WEDDINGWhen these wedding pictures landed in my inbox, I might have gasped. I mean talk about drop dead gorgeous. I don’t know what I like more, the venue, the dress or the cake. It could also be the pop of color in the groom’s bow tie OR those amazing flower garlands. Okay, okay, I think I love everything single aspect of this wedding. It was an absolute joy working with Heidi putting her invitations together. We even had a little UPS mis-hap and she stayed calm and collected during it all which is more than I can say for myself.

I just love a happy ending or beginning as the case may be and these two look like they’re off to a very good start. Best Wishes you guys!

One of my sweet brides just sent over these lovely pictures of her wedding. I always love seeing a bride’s vision come to life. If you know anything about me, you know that I just adore a piñata at a wedding. What a fun way to end the night, am I right? This bride ordered one of our printed invitations instead of the laser cut which is a really great way to get the same feel and stay within a budget.

Here are the details:

Okay kids, this is a doozy. I just love everything about this wedding. Apparently The Knot Texas did too and picked it as one of their top weddings of the year! It was such a joy to work with this bride and her mother and I am so pleased with how the final event turned out. Framing the invitation was such a nice touch for the reception and the color palette is so refreshing with the cool tones and the small pops of warmth. I could go on and on but then who would make the stationery?

REAL ARIZONA WEDDING WITH AVIE DESIGNS WRAP

Arizona Real Wedding 1Real Arizona Wedding 2
Hey! How cute is this real wedding? Our Baroque Wrapping Sheets were used as part of the decor. They decoupaged the wrap onto those adorable wooden bird houses and then added a wooden table number. The yellow matched perfectly and the modern pattern really goes with the entire feel of the wedding. I get so excited seeing crafty things done with our wrapping sheets. And since the sheets are on a nice, thick paper, they are perfect for stuff like this.

As always, I am honored to be a very small part of their big day.

REAL AUSTRALIA WEDDING BY AVIE DESIGNS

I am so excited to share this wedding with you. We actually do a lot of business in Australia. They must have good taste down under, right? Sorry, I won’t toot my own horn again. But I just adore working with my Australian Brides. Time change aside, they are always a pure delight and Kim was no different.

Everything from Kim’s lace gown to her maid of honor’s dress to the cathedral is just pure elegance. But my favorite parts are the whimsical touches from the reception. Chocolate oranges, yes please. Pearl polka dot cake, of course. Beautifully hand-crafted place cards, just the best. Happy bride and groom, perfection.

REAL CALIFORNIA WEDDING BY AVIE DESIGNS

REAL VINEYARD WEDDING BY AVIE DESIGNS

When Carol sent over these pictures of her wedding, I might have jumped up and down a few times. I still get so excited to be a part of such an elegant affair. I really enjoy the bright fun touches she added to give the whole day a touch of whimsy.

Carol came to me through a deal we offered on Gilt. And she put together a color combination that I have been talking about since. I loved her sense of adventure in putting together the peacock, dandelion and papaya. It was so fun working with her on this project. You can view our crochet wedding invitations here.

Carol clearly put together a great design team to put her day together. All of the photos are by Blueberry Photography, the bouquets are by Mints Design and the fabulous dessert table is by La Vie Douce Design. Visit Blueberry Photography’s website to see more pictures of this classy celebration.

Thanks Carol!

REAL NEW MEXICO WEDDING INVITATIONS VIA JESSIE BACA

I just wanted to share this stellar color combo one of my brides chose. These photos come to us by Jessie Baca who is working with Kinleigh to plan her wedding. Jessie Baca also took these photos on that great fabric.

Kinleigh chose Mist for the laser cut, papaya for the rsvp card and chocolate for the envelope. It turned out so much better than I thought. It’s no secret that I can be skeptical about color combos sometimes. They don’t always work out but this one is a real winner in my book.

Thanks Kinleigh and Jessie!

REAL WISCONSIN WEDDING BY AVIE DESIGNS VIA STYLE ME PRETTY

Hopefully you already saw this adorable, lovely, beautiful wedding on Style Me Pretty. I know I did. And then something special happened, I realized that it was one of my brides. It was pretty exciting! You do have to go to the full gallery to see my invitations but it’s so worth it!

Being at the very front end of a wedding, I love getting to see the end result. How it all comes together. I can’t get over Erin’s flannel shirt over her wedding dress. It just kills me.

I did the laser cut invitations and she provided the other parts. The kraft paper and the yellow together are so humble yet gorgeous at the same time.

Great job Erin! All photos are by Dani Stephenson Photography.
